This does happen.  Sometimes they won't eat certain plants or it's where
they've walked or too many "beans" there--who knows.  I guess if it's too
close it would bother me--(I live not too far from you, in Harvard.)  It
also makes a difference if the ratio of sheep to grass changes--they're
pretty picky if there's a lot of grass.  Not a perfect system I guess.
