Well, Theresa,
Perhaps you have been teaching others about gardening as well as
yourself. Each time you left behind a garden you left a concept and a piece
of yourself. there is always the possibility that the person who moved in as
you left each garden received a gift. And was knowledgeable enough to
recognize the gift. You may have been giving courses in gardening all these
years. fro yourself, nothing was truly left behind. You created new gardens
based upon what was learned in the old. Certainly no waste there.
