The quick way to identify sinensis is the reverse side of the leaves are
green instead of red. Alotromeria Laura is reliable for me for three years
although I do mulch it in the same bed that I have a hardy Hedychium
spicatum that I have had for four years outside. I had another hardy
Alstromeria that didn't survive a pink one. It was the second hardy one
introduced.
