Re: Favorite Full Sun Perennial

I guess my all time favorite has got to be "daylilies"
I have had a love affair going with this plant for several years. Every time I buy some I swear "this is it" famous last words, according to my husband, HOWEVER, I share with friends and relatives to make room for more. I've got to say, there isn't a plant living that I hate, to my knowledge. I continue planting daisy seed, and when that don't work I buy the plant and "pray".. Also I don't know anyone in their right mind could frown on a clematis, another one of my weaknesses. Then there is coreopsis, monarda, iris, lantana, brugmansia, phlox, pampas grass , red hot pokers, roses, hollyhock "hee hee hee" all salvis "hee hee" don't I wish. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. Come spring and I turn into a differant person, every time I go to the nursery to "just look" or so I tell my husband, I can't leave without the trunk of my car being full, then I don't have a clue where I'm gonna put them, but it seem I always find a place.
Oh well, lets face it "I'm a sucker for plant life".

Agastache
Is a nice genus-lots of new ones on the market now, can be grown as annuals were not hardy and need almost no supplemental watering.

Long blooming and with headheading many will bloom all summer, even in the north.
