Now that figures about $.37 a gal. If memory serves me right, you could get your gas pumped by a young man, you windsheilds washed, your oil checked, and the air in your tires checked if you so desired, and all of this with a smile.

Heck, I can remember coming home from a trip to Colorado in 1967 and when we were travelling through Nebraska, they were having a gas war and the price was $.19 cents a gallon!!!
(sorry Chris, we mature folks sometimes have to reminisce of Days Gone Bye.)
