Maybe a digression that won't upset our moderator, how much is gas in your
part of the world. We filled up today and paid $1.47 for the lowest price on
the pump. This would have been in East Nassau, New York which is about
twenty-five miles from anything. Hometown.
In New York, if you find someone to pump gas for you, you will pay a premium
for this service. Furthermore, you often have to pay prior to filling up
making two or more trips to the pump. More if you cannot make the exact
amount you paid in advance and need change.
I do recall my father stopping at a station with a big sign saying 5/$1.00.
He never seemed to be upset over gasoline prices.
