Yes, chicken wire works, but I just don't have the patience to protect
really vulnerable plants. I go for deer resistant and use Deer Off when I
must. I also just got a deer damage permit. The hunter (my son, and a
hunting family) must use bows because the place of damage is in my yard,
but, hey, whatever works! The deer population has exploded here in the last
three years.
