Re: Plant feelings

Thanks for the answers about plant abuse. I feel really at home here.
I don't think Walmart cares about their animals either.
They used to sell birds along with their fish. One day I went to find
that the seed dishes were empty and the finches had tried to get through
the wire grating and one had gotten its head stuck there.
I told the first woman I could find and she informed me the regular
person in charge was having her day off. So I guess they don't feed the
animals when she is off.
I told her if she was afraind to do it I would do it for her. She
finally went over and helped the bird get out.
When I went home I called the manager and told him to either get the
pat department in order or I would call the humane society. Shortly
afterwards they quit selling birds, thank God.
I know every plant I ever got from Walmart died because to me it looked
like they had plant cuttings put into soil with very little root growth.
It took me a while to figure out what was wrong. I kept blaming myself
for the poor performance. Then I bought plants at a nursery and had no
problems.
