A former employee of mine (when all we did was lawn and garden care) is
now employed at our local Walmart. They got in a new Nursery Manager
direct from Arkansas named 'Clete'....or 'Cleet' or some such
non-northern name. Anyway, she caught him hauling the Corylus avell.
'Contorta' to the compactor because they 'don't look well'. She
explained that they were *supposed* to look that way. Apparently due to
being caught not knowing his job, he shrugged and said they weren't
selling anyway. And so 15 contorted filberts met their demise by
compaction.
Sheesh.
