Re: Plant feelings

I went into Walmart this past summer and could have just screamed when I
seen the cannas they had, I went and complained and they sent me to the
manager. I told him that I didn't appreciate the way the palnts were taken
care of and that if they couldn't do a better job of it they should quit
selling them. Well to shut me up he gave me all the Cannas they had for 7
bucks. I went home with these poor looking things and took them out of the
pots(4-10inch pots) and the poor things were so bound in the container they
were splitting out the side. I babied them and sure enough I had the best
looking Cannas ever. I never really expected them to make it, I guess they
just needed a little love. what ticked me so bad is one girl there told me
whatever we don't sell the supplier buys back at regular price. Well the
manager sure proved her wrong by giving me the 4 pots for only 7 dollars
when they were all marked for 12!!!

Terry, who has lots of love for any plant!

I guess there is a whole tree full of us nuts out here, then.
They had to pull me off the ceiling when I saw what they'd done
to all the orchids at Home Depot. Now, I'd probably never buy
an orchid from Home Depot. Nonetheless, it was murder pure and
simple. Inexcusable. If they can't even care for them properly
for the month or 2 they have them, then they shouldn't buy them.
Period. Full stop. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. So I complained and
received a form letter thanking me for my query. Uh huh.
Jaime
