Which is supposed to build goodwill with local plant people, I suppose. ;-p
I tell you, I have spent a lot of money with that nursery that throws their
"spoiled" plants away. Getting a free rescue is not going to affect the
amount I spend appreciably.
I met a woman once who also "rescues" them from the dumpster and she said
she spoke to the manager once. He said he didn't care if people take them
out, as long as they don't put their own garden waste IN the dumpster and
fill it up. They do not intentionally crush or damage the plants beyond the
disposal. Occasionally, they set them upright, outside the container and
don't put them in at all. Someone there must have a heart (a little.)
I will have to give them credit for one year though. They gave

That was smart of them, and I'll bet the gardeners appreciated it.
For the most part though, they are terrible with
