Re: Color emphases on Perennial border design

When Jean mentioned the pink and orange azaleas clashing, I remembered
my Decorative Art professor years ago. Every day she wore a very formal
black suit, with small bright orange and pink accessories. And she
looked really good - though I suppose some people might have been
shocked.

As Linda mentioned, the pink and orange were always of the same
intensity, and used in small areas, so that they added accent to the
black suit in a really unique way. Maybe because of her, I don't mind
pink and orange flowers side by side!
