Amy, I believe you qualify for the long season. Here in Zn7, Georgia,I often
sow seeds directly into the ground in July. Ouick growing (uhhh wronglist
uhh) *annuals*. In fact our growing season is so long it is like having two
summers compared to some of my northern friends.Our last frost date is the
end of March with our first frost often at the beginning of November. I
would suggest doing some research on your zone. On the back of many seed
packages you will see suggested planting times.Our long season often gives
me the opportunity to sow perennial seeds and see them bloom in the same year.
