Shirley poppies are self-seeding annuals. I grew them last year for the
first time, and out of the half dozen that opened daily, there were at
least two that were so incredibly beautiful they'd bring you to your knees.
Flowers about two inches in diameter, mine were varied colors -- maybe
they all are. Margaret
