poppy question

Hi everyone. Let me first say I am enjoying the perennials list immensely.
I have gotten lots of good info.
I have a question about a kind of poppy. I have checked several gardening
books I have and can't find the answer. So I hope you do not mind my
asking here.
Is a shirley poppy a kind of oriental poppy? Someone gave me some shirley
poppy seeds, and I am trying to get info on them so I will grow them
correctly. Is there another name I can reference them under?
