Nancy:
I've grown Lewisia cotyledon from seed several times. It is
a multi-cycle germinator, I give them 6 weeks of cold
treatment before placing them at room temperature (cold
treatment = sow, water, then 6 weeks at about +4C in the
fridge). I've always had good germination with them.
Once they were the size of a quarter, I also recall they
had good growth spurts after fertilizing.
