Sheila asked about a pink coreopsis. It's called Coreopsis rosea and is
supposed to be hardy in zone 5 at least. The flower (in the
picture--mine is new late last fall and hasn't bloomed yet) is single
with a small yellow center. It looks to be charming in the way that the
thread-leafed coreopsis are, such as the pale yellow Moonbeam or the
bright yellow Zagreb with their dainty foliage. I have read that it
enjoys a wetter location than other coreopsis. With a little luck, I'll
be able to say more about this plant in five months or so...
