I agree -- let's talk about perennials!

I've had good luck with the following:
Coreopsis verticillata 'Moonbeam' and Stachys byzantina
(Moonbeam coreopsis/Lamb's ears)
Galium odoratum and Muscari armeniacum
(Sweet woodruff/Grape hyacinth)
Lychnis coronaria and Achillea 'Moonshine'
(Rose campion/Moonshine yarrow)
Ajuga reptans and Muscari armeniacum
(Bugleweed/Grape hyacinth)
Dicentra spectabilis and Hosta spp. (variegated) and Vinca minor
(Bleeding heart/Variegated hostas/Periwinkle)

Tulipa fosteriana 'Red Emperor' and Syringa meyeri 'Palibin' and
Brunnera macrophylla
(Red Emperor tuplips/Palibin Meyer lilac/Perennial forget-me-not)
Brunnera is at

Liatris microcephela and Opuntia humifusa
(Western dwarf liatris/Eastern prickly pear)
There's lots more, but of course they don't come to mind right now. I'll
probably put up more images soon.
Looking at this, I guess I like combinations of
Red/white/blue/pink
Blue/yellow
Pink/blue
Pink/yellow
White/blue
Blue/blue
It's hard to put blues together that clash, but I've seen some
pretty horrendous pinks side by side!
