Re: Rock

Matt:
Living without rock would definitely be a detriment. However, we in south
eastern Missouri have so much rock we can't dig down even 2 inches in most
places without hitting rock. Of course the rocks I pick up and bring home,
(about the size of a 5 gallon bucket) are just small ones compared to some
of the massive rocks my husband brings home with his backhoe. All of my
garden beds are lined with rock. We are in the process of landscaping and
creating a waterfall down and slope and under a 48 foot bridge we built
over a small ravine in the back yard. What a project. Without rocks? I
think I would just die. We call our place Rock Haven because there are so
many. The copper pipes sound really nice and I love the blackie potato
vines. I don't know what zone you are in but there are so many vines that
are so beautiful. I love all the Clematis and have a sweet autumn that I
plant with cypress vine. The bright red flowers of the cypress vine really
contrast well with the white sweet autumn flowers.
	Good gardening. JC
