Hey Bill,
I have a 4 1/2 month old half Spitz, half Sheltie and boy is he a
digger!!!!! He uproots my plants and then tosses them about the yard. It's
hilarious to watch--then reality sets in--hey that's an $8.00 plant (or $3
or $5 or what-have-you). Hey wait a minute, Shadow!
I can intimidate him with harsh words which last a day or two, and then
there he is, back tossing around the plants. He digs great holes, by the
way. If only I could get him to dig where I want him to.
Will keep on with trying to train him. Would his droppings affect my
plants?
