Hi, all --
Does anyone know a source for Zigadenus elegans, otherwise known as
Mountain Death Camas, White Camas, or Alkali Grass? I have seen only
one reference and picture of this (in "Perennials for American Gardens"
by
Clausen & Ekstrom, Random House). I know it's poisonous to "man and
livestock," which is pretty low risk in my urban garden. The books says
it's a bulbous plant. Airy spires of greenish white starry flowers
arise two to three feet above lirope-type foliage - yummy. Appreciate
your help.
