We live in zone 5 and have grown Japanese Blood Grass successfully for a
number of years but know we are pushing our luck. Every spring we keep
our fingers crossed. The area we have it accumulates a lot of blowing
snow which we are sure helps insulate it. Well worth taking a chance on
though. One word of caution-we believe that in some states Blood Grass is
considered a noxious weed altough we could not confirm this.
