This is how I have finally set up the water bed heater. I did put the flat
on top of the pad and I took the thermostat prong and place inside the flat
between the cell packs. So far it is working just fine. I have had it like
this for two days set at 85f and the bottom of the plastic flat still looks
fine and it doesnt appear to get all that hot. Will keep checking it though
but it sure seems to be a sucess so far.
