Katherine's advice is just about what I was ready to pipe up with. The
only thing I'd add is that for the ticket method to work you have to have a
very definite starting time so that everyone who wants to participate gets
there before the gun goes off. The local chapter of NARGS sets a time for
bringing and setting out the plants (done in groups alphabetically by
botanical name.... like a-c and d-f, etc.) and this is the time when we all
snoop around and spot the ones we want to go after when the "gun" goes off!
This is usually about an hour before the 'swap' starts. The swap doesn't
take all that long...plant people can snag plants really fast.
You should have a ball!
