Barb, I only have one clematis but it is a must as far as gardening goes. The
Jack Manii hope I spelled it corectly. It is dark purple and I got mine about
4 yrs. ago from a little twig I bought at a local home improvement store
called Builders square and I paid 3.50 cents for it and the reason I remember
all of this is because it was one of the first plants I tried to grow. And I
succeded. If I can grow this one anyone can. Mine is against my chain link
fence in the back of my yard. It gets full sun and remember that the roots
like to be shaded so I always mulch mine with wood chips each year. I don't
remember if bees are attracted to it or not. And you can cut this one down to
the grown late fall. Hope that helps
