Susan, perhaps your concept of comfort food also fits my definition
of gourmet food: dishes prepared in a tasty manner and served
attractively. It doesn't mean just what you see on TV food shows or
Martha Stewart---beef stew (ragout) can be gourmet. It also doesn't
mean going to a restaurant and paying $100 for a meal if it isn't
tasty.
