Yes, Montana (MT), where the state flower is Lewisia rediviva, or
Bitterroot. It doesn't grow in the area where I live, but it's one of the
plants I'd like to try someday. I do grow the state plant of my home state
of South Dakota, which is Pulsatilla vulgaris, or Pasque flower. It blooms
early in the spring with lavender flowers atop feathery foliage, and the
produces lovely seedheads that stay intact for a long time. My plants came
from the Dutch Gardens catalog.
