Lilies - Last year was my Day Lily year. A very sweet lady that lives
near me has a Day Lily Farm and of course I went wild. I already had
several in my yard and they had done so well and bloomed for a long
period of time. She had a sale and she was selling them $5.00 for a
clump. Some of the clumps were so big that I could not wrap my arms
around them. Needless to say I had a hard time finding places to put
that many Lilies, but can't wait until blooming time.
While there I noticed "Red Hot Pokers" I had never seen a real one,
only pictures
Well later on I received a special from "Springhill" and ordered them.
I can't wait to see them blooming in my garden.
The one thing that I have not had any success with are "Larkspurs"
Last year I ordered 12 packs of seed and planted 1/2 of them in the
fall, when spring comes I'm gonna plant the other 1/2. I am determined
to have "Larkspurs" one way or another. I have been doing this for
the past 3 or 4 years and haven't had any luck yet, but I don't give up
easily
