Devon,
I bought a slow-release fertilizer at Lowe's last year. Right now I can't
recall the name, but it was advertised a lot on HGTV. It was little green
and white pebbles and it worked fine. It works with the heat from the
ground so it does not burn. I liked it a lot and will probably buy it
again this year. It fertilizes for three months and it wasn't expensive.
