I, too, am interested in pink daylilies. In fact, I moved most all the
'purportedly pink' dls into one 'pink' dl bed and a pink-mix dl bed just
a few months ago.
I have only been growing dls for about 3 years. So far the most
true-pink I have is Hall's Pink. A new one I have that is blooming now
is Second Thoughts, which is probably the 2nd closest to true pink I
have.
Wal Mart was selling Hall's Pink which I bought this year but it is NOT
Hall's Pink. It is a spider form pinkish color with a darker chevron
remiscent of Lady Neva's color-placement. The Hall's Pink I have that IS
Hall's Pink I got from Oake's Daylilies about 3 years ago.
It seems to me that the color saturation of most pinks changes to more
orangey or coral pink when I have put them into freshly dug beds with
lots of composted manure and compost (Gromulch). In their original one
gallon pots, they seemed less coral, and more pink, to me.

Hello Group,
I once asked the purple daylily question of the society in my area and
the
answer was 'Strutter's Ball'. At the same time, I tried over and over
to
find a true pink buying many that were really "peachy". I have a "pink
but
really peachy" reject row.
