I have that also, or something reasonably similar -- I'd have to go
outside and find the original label which, considering how this plant has
spread, is wherever I originally planted this cultivar. The
purple-leaved form is not quite as invasive as the plain species
(green-leaved), but as with any Lysimachia it will still quickly spread
throughout the garden. It is shallow rooted so easy to pull up, and I've
yet to see it actually overwhelm anything else.
I only grow it for the purple leaves -- yes, Claire, those yellow flowers
are promptly snipped off as soon as they form and sent to the compost
pile. ;-)
