pruning trumpet vine?

	I have a two trumpet vines (Campsis), a yellow and an orange, on two
sides of a tall redwood treillis in full to partial sun.  They were planted
about three years ago, and this year they have taken off and are growing
like crazy and even blooming a bit. My question is when it is okay to prune
them. I don't want to cut off next year's blooms, but I do want to keep them
from becoming too large for their treillis.  Any suggestions?
