Re: seed collecting


Pat, 
First, let me make it clear that I would NEVER take seeds from a nursery,
botanic garden or private garden without asking. But in your case described
below, I think worrying about it is making a real mountain out of a molehill. 

If you really feel guilty about it, go ahead and ask. Or better yet, show
the plants to the land owner and see if he/she wants you to start some
plants for him/her! You're right; might make a great new friend.
