Provided it isn't dandelions, it's a lovely thought to me, too.  I think 
yellow is a wonderful color -- bright and cheery.  It is the color of the 
sun.  I especially like it with blue so it repeats the colors of the sun and 
the sky above.  Yellow complements just about every other color, too, and it 
is very useful in design because it draws the eye.  I think color is one of 
the main reasons I grow perennials.  I love color, lots of color, and can't 
think of a color I don't like.  I love them all, but especially yellow!
