Re: yellow and blue/ delphiniums

Hello Myrna,
I have two Delphiniums that are in full bloom here now. Both are easily grown
and perform well for me. One is the D. belladonna 'Conn. Yankee". It is a single
bloom with a shrubby growth habit. Blooms are deep blue to icy blue. Reaches about
two to two and one half feet. The other is a species, D. exaltatum. Reaches about
4 feet to a bit over. Blooms are a lavender-blue. This one went through our
drought last summer and was cut back three times, giving four bloom cycles. We had
flowers in November on this one.
