Re: Mystery ground cover

I was given some of this a number of years ago and, like Janet, ID'd it as
Lamiastrum galeobdolon. It has not been aggressive in my garden (I have it
in dense shade). FYI, it also grows well in a hanging basket -- mine is in
a spaghnum-filled wire basket, hanging from a tree branch -- looks great.

Can anyone ID this photo of a piece of ground cover that was given me?

It is hardly here in Zone 5, likes shade, grows from long runners
that appear to root at the nodes. I have never seen it flower. It
is rather attractive and does not appear to be invasive (at least in
the garden that it came from).

Thanks for any help.
