This year, quite by accident, I have some glads situated to good
advantage in a border.
Last years glads came up around the edges of a patch of very tall
hollyhocks (we measured, the tallest is 11 1/2 feet tall).
Normally, my glads freeze out but we've been experiencing mild winters,
as you know, and all came back. As the lower blooms on the hollyhocks
were expended, the glads came into bloom at that level, filling in nicely
