lysimachia revisited

Hello All,
I cannot remember if Lysimachia atropurpurea was covered in the recent
discussion.
I do not mean Lysimachia ciliata, the red leafed form. There is an entry on
Thompson & Morgan, 2000, page 23 for this plant (atropurpurea)
It is described as an 18 inch plant with silver-green leaves and claret-red
spikes of flowers. T&M call it zone 6 but I would give it a try here.
Is anyone growing this plant?
