And now we see that common names cause confusion in beetles too!  In the
Cincinnati area, the bug we call a June bug is not black nor particularly
huge.  It's light brown, about the size of a honey bee, and we only see them
at night buzzing around lights. I haven't seen many of them this year.  My
dog Tristan loves to catch and eat them so they must be quite tasty.  He
likes cicadas too.
