In my prior garden, many beds that were sunny turned shady as big trees
grew bigger over a 14 year period. Some of the perennials that tolerate
that situation (but don't necessarily bloom quite as well) included
campanulas of many kinds (except the alpine types), daylilies, siberian
iris (but not german bearded), meadow rue, and columbine. Of course,
many "shade" perennials like some sun if they get enough moisture, so
would do well in your situation: astilbe, heuchera, pulmonaria,
dicentra, lobelia, etc.
