Himalayan Musk" rose, that was supposed to be a climber that
particularly liked to grow up through trees; it was very subdued until
last year when it began climbing, and this year it has just gone every
which way, full of light pink fragrant blossoms, wherever you look, and
more than twenty feet from the center. >>

I had my rose period as well Isabelle and that is one that never was able to
make long canes before it was frozen here. I am roundly jealous that you
made it with a long caned, tree climbing rose. I tried quite a few times.
Sincerely hope one year on the canes will keep it going for you, a great
triumph in NYS above the city.

The only one that will do it here is the Canadian William Baffin. If anyone
else has a climate that beats up roses regularly, have a look at William
Baffin or sneak down to Isabelle's garden for a great treat. William Baffin
will survive to the Arctic Circle.

I ssurely wish we could grow that class of roses.
