Bad question Cheryl, now there will be 100 posts on how to do it. I bury the
label under the plant and that is it. I mark potted plants or rare or
unusual ones in containers and I sort of have a shameful filing system for
all else. When I buy something with a tag, I throw it into a big pot in the
garden house. I clean and sort it around every three or four years. If you
are on tour and you absolutely do not know a name and you are really pressed
make one up. If no pencil and paper appear, you are home free.
