Re: Sickly Blue Cohosh- need help


Hello Lillian,
    My best guess on your cohosh is simply dormancy is beginning to happen.
If the plants did not bloom and set those lovely blue berries, then now is
about the time for it to go dormant. Assume it is hot and dry where you
garden like it is here? If you are watering the garden it can cause the
plant to try to send up a side shoot. I would now ease up on the watering
and let it sleep until next spring.
