Hello!
For those who miss Roger Swain from the Victory Garden, he is back.
Huzzah!
I will second Claire - great magazine - well written, informative and on topic. I am sick of Martha Look a Likes and too pretty magazines. This magazine is a must have for anyone in New England or Eastern New York or anyone planning to travel here. They are behind the TV show. I do hope this will be a real gardeners TV program. You cannot love all topics, but once in while one should please.
I can't decide if I like it or hate it. The audience it wants is not the experienced gardener, but the weekend yuppie gardener. And that laugh is making me NUTS. I do like some of the other presenters; but I miss Roger, Jim Wilson and Lucinda Mays. You can keep Holly Shimzu! (don't ask what I call her - its not polite.)Does anyone have a comment on the new Victory Garden. If you live around here, you just know it comes from Boston's Back Bay. Maybe it will get better. The host is trying. If you are old enough to remember the Crockett shows, you remember an extremely well informed host with an easy manner.
