My two cents - I meet Peter Seabrook one year at the Boston Flower show, VERY early in the AM - 7 AM opening and we talked for about 20 minutes about the Cambridge Botanical Garden; two years later, I happened to get a chance to speak with him again, and he remembered me.In a message dated 7/4/02 3:26:16 PM Eastern Daylight Time, Blee811@aol.com writes: << Yes, I enjoyed that one too. Adrian was such an improvement over Peter Seabrook, >> Bill, You can never pick on Peter Seabrook. That man did more for the Victory Garden than he could have been paid for. He appeared year after year at the Boston Show and stayed all day and talked with everybody. He was kind and generous with his time, the only one of that crew who stayed all day. He said that if you were good enough to tune in his show and take some time to watch it, he was appreciative enough to stand for a week in Boston and talk to his fans. I am easy to win over.
Since it is too hot to garden - which gardening personality/writer would you most like to meet?
My choices - Roger Swain, Felder Rushing, Sharon Lovejoy, Tony Advent.
