RE: Roger Swain is back now editing


Yes they are ruthless!  3 hours of filming my garden and interviewing me by
the garden reporter for one of the local TV stations was distilled down to 3
minutes for the evening news.  Of course I thought they left most of the
really good stuff out too.  :)

Gene,
I realize that most of interviews end up on the floor of the editing
room. Our pond expo was taped by a local cable company in May. 16+ hours
of us yapping ended up as a 90 min video. Understand it has been on the
cable station about 4 times already. When I saw the finished product
before airing, thought that we should have edited instead of them. Left
out so much important information and left the ho hum stuff.. Guessing
they felt that was more entertaining.
