That Don, should be all you need on Chen Yi. She has also come up on the
Bulb List but there are no archives to check. Also maybe no Bulb List to
check as there has been a true 4th of July over there (fireworks). If I was
in an adventuresome mood, I might try. What Marge has said seems to be all
you are going to get to know online.

Thanks, Claire and Marge.

Your caveats are appropriate for this type of thing. Several years ago, I mediated a group order of aroid tubers from a nursery in India - mostly members of the aroid and arisaema lists. I'd have to say it was a qualified success. It took almost 9 months to receive the order, mainly having to do with waiting for the tubers to go dormant for harvesting. There were some items lost to rot and other items were not overly large. I don't know about the correctness of the taxonomy, although the Clivia I ordered was not C. nobilis as advertised, but appears to be simply C. miniata.

I guess I was just testing the waters to see if anyone else was interested. This sort of thing only makes sense if you can get together a group order. That way, no one needs to put out hundreds of dollars on an order that may possibly disappoint.
