Would you guys quit complaining about rain ;-) We've had only .19" since
June 1. I know I live in a high desert region, but this is ridiculous. We
may even break all time record high today--record is 111. At least we don't
have humidity!

I wish this were true, but I'm south and probably a little west of
Claire, and while we did have a week or so a month ago when it rained a
fair amount, since then we've had very little rain.
It's not as bad yet as the last several years, but if we don't get rain
every week and then a good amount of it, we'll be watering regularly.
The other day, for example, I noticed that some astilbe that I had
relocated and that were doing fine, looked brown and parched, almost
dead. I instantly gave them the hose water and they've mostly
recovered.
