My daughter grows Artemisia Limelight. Lots of sun and somewhat sandy
loam....you know, real soft stuff. Simply put in one year it grew
enough/spread to vie for "Invasive Plant of the Year" Maybe she needed to
pull 90% out last fall. Dunno.
Now believing they are similar, I went ahead in spring and purchased
Artemisia 'Craig Barber's Eye'. Put it in the middle of an oval bed of
"Stellas ( a plant I grow but do not like) with a butterfly house in the
middle. So far Mr Barber has behaved, but after a wet spring, it's been dry.
Last rain was June 27. VERY dry.
Sorry, just went outside to see Crig Barber's Eye at this exact moment in
time. Yup, just kinda sitting there doin nuttin. Neither a winner or loser
be at this point in time.
