Re: variegated lily of the valley


It's an awfully attractive plant, Claire.  I bought it at Hedgerows Nursery
in the Portland, OR area in '99, when I was there for a daffodil society
board meeting. I've seen it in a catalog or two since then but it's usually
sold out.  I have the feeling that it isn't as rampant as the standard LOTV
or there's be more of it in commerce.
Here is a link to a photo of my plant, which I obtained a few years ago from Ellen Hornig
at Seneca Hill Perennials. It is definitely on the restrained side and only adds 1 or 2 new pips a year.

That is very pretty in leaf - I may have to find a pip or two for myself!
